FAQ
Are there any feature differences between evaluation and the Standard license?
No. Evaluation and the Standard license expose exactly the same features. The only difference is the small reminder dialog shown at startup during evaluation — nothing is locked, watermarked, or time-limited.
How is this different from a typical paid-app trial?
No time limit, no feature lock, no credit card, no auto-charge. Every feature is unlocked from day one and evaluation never expires. We never ask for a credit card, and you are never charged automatically. Only when you decide to keep SeqLens do you buy the Standard license — on your own timing.
What is your refund policy?
Because evaluation runs forever with every feature unlocked, you can prove SeqLens fits your work before paying a cent. That's our refund policy — try it as long as you need, then buy when you're sure. If a purchase itself goes wrong, contact us via the support form and we will sort it out.
Is it a subscription?
No. Standard is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges. Future updates are included at no extra cost.
How many machines can one person use SeqLens on?
A Standard license is for a single user, on up to 2 of their machines at a time. You can deauthorize a device from the Account page whenever you need to free up a slot. For larger deployments, please get in touch.
Can multiple people in my company share one license?
A Standard license covers a single user. If a few or many people in your organization need to use SeqLens, please reach out — we will set you up properly.
Does SeqLens work offline?
Yes — for a period of time. After a one-time online activation, SeqLens keeps working without an internet connection, and quietly revalidates the license whenever it can reach the network again.
Can I get a receipt, invoice, or set my tax ID for qualified invoices?
Receipts and invoices can be downloaded from the Account page. Tax-ID and company details (including 適格請求書 information) can also be set from the Account page yourself, and they will be reflected on future receipts.
Educational, team, or studio-wide use?
